In this scene Armine talks about the life and death of his dog Rose. When we had this in the film it was actually two different scenes and they nearly made it into the final version. Ultimately we chose to remove it from the film because it interrupted the flow of the story in the second act.

This sequence focuses on Dave's intense passion for Jiu-Jitsu. Since the film's completion Dave has become a certified Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor. This deleted scene was the first sequence we edited for the film and it remained in numerous iterations for months.
